Grants of up to $100,000 are up for grabs for local event organisers under TEQ’s Queensland Destination Events Program (QDEP).
Member for Burnett Stephen Bennett has urged festival and event organisers to apply today with the new round of funding now open.
“The funding is available for events taking place in Queensland between May 2020 – May 2021,” he said.
“We are extremely lucking in this part of the world to have some of the best talent, destinations and scenery to offer, so let’s put it on display!
“We already have some incredible local events in the Burnett and this funding would help to put them on the map.”
Applications close on Wednesday, 2 October 2019.
