Member for Burnett Stephen Bennett will join fellow Rotarians and other local residents at a White Ribbon Breakfast in Bundaberg tomorrow to help stop violence against women.
Mr Bennett, a White Ribbon Ambassador, said this year’s White Ribbon Day encourages communities across Australian to stand up, speak out and act to prevent violence against women.
“We all have an important role to play in helping end the cycle of domestic and family violence,” Mr Bennett said.
“As a community we can build a future free from violence and abuse.”
