Home owners in the Wide Bay-Burnett region have been urged to use a free online directory to find local building industry contractors to help their rebuilding efforts.
Member for Burnett, Stephen Bennett said the Building Services Authority’s ‘Find a Local Contractor’ directory was an easy-to-use service which took the legwork out of finding a tradesperson.
“We know there is plenty of work to be done following the floods,” Mr Bennett said.
“This directory allows people to find licenced tradespeople with just a few clicks.
“It also provides consumers with a full history of the licencee so they can make a more informed choice.”
