Get Started Voucher’s will be available from next week for up and coming sporting superstars around the Bundaberg and Burnett region said Member for Burnett Stephen Bennett.
Mr Bennett is encouraging parents to get ready to secure the $150 vouchers from February 6th to help kick start the 2019 sporting year.
“These vouchers enable young Queenslanders who might otherwise miss out, to get active with their friends through sport and recreation,” he said.
President of the Bargara Football Club Troy Wolski said Sport provides a unique opportunity for children to learn new skills, and be actively involved in their local community.
“At Bargara FC, our volunteer coaches enjoy watching and guiding player development throughout season and it’s extremely rewarding!” he said.
“The ‘Get Started Voucher’ is an amazing program that provides families with financial support to get their child/ren participating in local sport.”
Get Started Vouchers is a program under the Get in the Game initiative.
