Member for Burnett Stephen Bennett will host a free Family Fun Day this weekend at Bargara’s newly revamped Christsen Park at the Basin.
Mr Bennett said the event was his way of bringing the community together to welcome in spring.
“We are blessed with perfect weather, particular during this time of year – it really is an ideal opportunity to enjoy the outdoors,” Mr Bennett said.
“I’m really proud to be working alongside some wonderful community groups including the Bargara Lions Club, Bargara Men’s Shed and Bundaberg Rotaract to host a fun day out for the whole family.
“We have some great local school groups also participating on the day including Bargara and Kolan South State Schools.”
