While the preliminary results appear very positive, it really is important that I wait until the seat is officially declared.
I’m humbled by the overwhelming support I have received and I am very grateful for that, however I am not about to claim the seat today, particularly given that notional counting appears to have been stalled.
In the meantime, I’m back at the office and getting on with the job and remain hopeful we will receive an official result soon.
