“The Burnett is full of young creative geniuses with three local students among twelve chosen as winners of the 2023 Farm safety calendar competition.
“A huge congratulations must go to Isabella Gatti from Kolan South State School, Tasmin Spencer from Miriam Vale State School, and Jaxton Cox from Elliott Heads State School.
“We’re lucky to live in a food bowl here in the Burnett, but farming doesn’t come without its dangers around machinery, livestock, and dams.
“Farm safety is a top priority locally and we should be very proud to see three of our students chosen out of 1,500 entries.
“It’s clear teachers and parents place a huge emphasises on farm safety.
“I’ve ordered my calendar and can’t wait for it to arrive!”
