More than 90 people shared a cuppa today with local MPs Stephen Bennett and David Batt to raise funds in the fight against cancer.
The fourth annual morning tea, hosted by Mr Bennett and Mr Batt with the QCWA Burnett Division, raised more than $1600 to help Cancer Council Queensland continue their vital work.
The event featured home baked goods, tea, coffee, guest speakers, entertainment and raffles.
Mr Bennett and Mr Batt said they were thrilled to see the local community join together to support the Cancer Council in their efforts to continue vital work.
All funds raised through the morning tea will help support more than 1630 people in the Wide Bay Burnett diagnosed with cancer each year
