The Childers SES team were this week awarded the well-deserved title of Regional Operational Response of the Year!

Childers SES has been officially recognised for their service to the community during SES Week.

They, along with the rest of their Childers SES group, received accolades for the role they played to assist police find a missing young girl earlier this year. For their efforts, the team received the well-deserved title of Regional Operational Response of the Year!

Across Queensland there are over 80,000 volunteers across all walks of life taking time out of their day to help their community in time of need.
